TTXPowerlink is well-suited for demanding prototyping applications in the automotive industry. Its integrated CAN controller facilitates the design of gateway units for coupling the CAN field bus with the FlexRay protocol bus, thus getting the best out of both technologies.
TTXPowerlink components
The main component of TTXPowerlink is the powerlink baseboard. It enables building communication nodes in a very flexible way. All components, such as the host CPU, the network controller and the physical layer can be exchanged and combined as required for a specific application. External connectors for FlexRay, CAN and LIN are available on separate physical layer boards that are stacked onto the device and allow a flexible choice of the physical layer.
