The software tool TTXPlan enables cluster design and scheduling for distributed automotive systems. Its innovative two-level design framework supports the seamless integration of electronic subsystems and the network design exchange between OEMs and suppliers.
Precise cluster specification with two-level design approach
TTXPlan takes communication requirements as input and performs automatic mapping of signals to FlexRay frames. The complete communication schedules are generated automatically. Manual and automatic scheduling methods can be combined whereas TTXPlan checks the created schedules in order to ensure correctness and consistency with the user and FlexRay specifications at all levels.
Smooth integration into existing development processes
By means of a scripting interface TTXPlan can be completely controlled. The tool supports standard FIBEX formats as well as customized input/output formats, thus enabling smooth integration with existing development processes. At the node level, the subsystems are implemented on the basis of the subsystem interactions that are specified in the cluster design. In addition, TTXPlan enables the developer to schedule a cluster and define spare areas in frames to be used for upgrades.
